This is not to brag (maybe a little bit), but we’re one of only a handful of detailers in the Minneapolis area that truly know what they’re doing. The tools and methods we use give our customers far superior results than your average detailer would. Check out our work for yourself. Not only is our quality of work among the highest, but we also strive to give our customers an awesome experience. We reply to your calls, emails, texts as fast as possible, we make sure you know exactly what’s going on with your car. We’ll let you know before hand what you can expect from the detail etc. We want to make sure you have a full understanding of what’s going on.
Even though Minneapolis/Saint Paul is a very large city, we service the entire city. It also depends on how large of a project you want us to do. That being said, here some areas we frequently visit: Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Edina, Shakopee, Lakeville, Andover, Maple Grove, and Stillwater. Send us an email and let us know what area you’re in!
Some jobs can take us 2 hours (moderate cleaning), while others can take us 6 hours (years of dirt, grime, spills, and filth). It really comes down to the size of your car, the conditions it’s in, and of course, the service you want done to it. Generally, a Full interior cleaning will take anywhere from 2 hours to 5 hours.
Back when we first started, we used just about every imaginable brand and product under the sun. We had Meguiars, Chemical Guys, Sonax, Wolfgang, Griot’s Garage, and so forth. Now, we mainly use Meguiars and Shine Supply. We’ve stepped away from using dozens and dozens of products and now have a small but strong arsenal of tools and products we use on on daily basis.
Ah, yes, the good ol “missed-a-lot-of-spots detailer”. It’s very common for us to be called out to detail cars AFTER the customer has gone through a not-so-good detailer on their car. The usual complaints we hear are they: -Left water in the cracks and crevices and it’s dripping everywhere with water spots -Didn’t vacuum my car thoroughly -Missed a lot of spots that were easy to clean. So yes, we make sure we get all the details
For starters, we don’t soak your seats until they’re dripping wet. We do nothing close to that. We do the best we can to use only the necessary amount of water to clean your interior. With that being said, if it’s a relatively warm day outside, your interior will be 80% dry by the time we’re done. In another hour or so, it should be 100% dry to the touch. Your interior will take a longer to dry if it’s cold outside or if there’s no heat.
Apartments: Yes, we definitely detail at apartments (assuming the property management is okay with that). The only thing we require is enough space to move around. It’s a bit hard to detail a car when we can’t even open the doors all the way 🙂 Garages: If we can, we will. The biggest issue we’ve found in garages is property management kicking us out due to noise or the garage already has a contract with a car wash or detail company on location.
Our cleaning methods are based on what we’re cleaning and the condition that it’s in. Based on our experience and skill set, we’ll tackle different areas of the car with different tools and products to get the best results possible. For instance, if we’re shampoo cleaning the seats, we may use one of three methods: -All purpose cleaner and a brush -All purpose cleaner, a brush, and a steamer -All purpose cleaner, a brush, and an extractor. This applies to all areas of the vehicle. We come prepared to tackle a lot of problems on the interior and exterior 🙂
Can I bring my car to you?
Yes you can bring your car to us. However, you won’t be able to wait while we work on it. We work from a home garage, so this would not be possible. However, we will come out to your location as long as it is within our service area.
Do you repair upholstery?
At this time, we do not repair upholstery. That’s a completely different set of skills and tools needed to complete the job. We focus on detailing your car from it’s current condition to like-new.
Do you offer any type of deal for multiple cars?
As much as we’d love to, we don’t usually do this. Our prices are more than fair for the level of work we are providing. But 2 cars are better than 1, so by all means, let us know that you want us to detail several cars and maybe we can work something out 🙂
Realistically speaking, there’s no certification or licenses needed to become an automotive detailer. Yes, there are schools and training classes out there that provide certificates and the like, but there are no standards or regulations in the detailing world. For me personally, it’s all been hands on training and the good ol’ YouTube and Google. Check out some more of our work so you can make a better judgement about our skills.
Pricing is dependent on two main variables; 1) the condition and 2) the size of the vehicle. You’ll find price ranges on most of our services on our website. We can give you exact pricing once we inspect the interior (you can send us photos via text/email). Here’s a list of the most popular services we offer: Full Interior Detailing: This is where we’ll clean everything from top to bottom, front to back to the best condition possible (seats, floor mats, door panels, headliner, dashboard, vents, etc…) Basic Interior Cleaning: This is more of a maintenance upkeep service. A thorough vacuum, wipe down of dust, and cleaning windows/glass. Basic Exterior Detail: We hand wash and dry your vehicle, remove contamination from the paint, and then polish and wax it. Full Exterior Detail: In addition to the Basic Detail, we will also remove 70%-80% of the swirls and scratch marks on your paint. We will then add a ceramic coating to protect your now beautiful paint.
Yes, we sure do! We’ve been noticing that a lot of our customers are keen to this type of service. We have 2 options for maintenance packages so it can be easier and faster for you to get your car cleaned regularly.
We accept either cash or any major debit/credit cards. However, we do not accept checks or money orders.
Yes. As we are mobile, going out to a specific location requires us to plan traffic and what equipment we’ll need.
Yes, we get plenty of requests from customers that want to sell their vehicle. Whether it’s for the interior or exterior, we can prep the car for sale!
No, we don’t. As long as you are in our service area, we will only charge based on the type of vehicle and service being done. So no, there is no mobile fee. If you are in Saint Cloud, Rochester, etc there will be a mobile fee.
We charge on a flat-rate basis based on the size of your vehicle and the condition that it’s in. So whether we take 3 hours or 7 hours, the price will stay the same for you 🙂
